The Jump Off

I went to Naples this weekend and went to a beautiful overlook of the area. It is named, "The Jump Off." The first picture is of this gorgeous overlook. It's a great time of the year to visit this area because the colorful fall trees creates beautiful scenery. The vibrant tree colors just seem to amplify the hills and that beauty just expands for miles.

I love this next picture because I took it while the sun was starting to set. While the shadows have casted over the grass, the sun is still shining on the golden trees in the distance. It seemed like 1 minute later and there was no more sun shining in the scenery. I caught the picture just in time to get the last few minutes of sunshine.

10.10.10

I was at Mendon Ponds on October, 10, 2010...what a crazy date! It was a beautiful day for hiking and picture taking! We drove around to a few different spots at the park so I could get various shots of the colorful trees and sunshine. We also saw a bunch of deer eating under a tree at one point. I took many pictures but I am going to share my most favorite from the album. One thing I love about how these photos came out is the way the sunshine puts a dramatic effect in a different way for each picture. Whether its the sun peaking through the shadows from a tree, of the sun shining on the the water from the fountain, I think the natural light from the sun made these photos beautiful. I Hope you like it!

Oh, Pebbles.

This is Pebbles, my family's dog. She is one of the most lovable and beautiful dogs.
The first two pictures are from the first summer we had Pebbles. I shot these at one of my brother's baseball games, and while half the time she was tugging on her collar trying to catch flies or the balls, I just happened to catch the few seconds where she stopped and observed what was really going on around her. She is a dog full of energy, but she is a smart dog too.

These last few photos are more recent. The first two in this section I took while she was following me around the house. In the very last photo she thought we were going outside, so there she sat at the top of the stairs waiting for me. I love this picture because of how she is sitting on the stairs like a human would. Her butt is sitting on the higher stair, while her feet are resting on the lower stair. Did I mention she is an amusing dog as well? I hope these photos symbolize some of the beauty and charm that I have found in Pebbles.
